Student councils, creative work, and the communities I help bring together.

K. International School Tokyo · 2024–25
Elected in December 2024 on a promise to make the council easier to reach: anonymous feedback forms, new student-led teams, more sports events and fundraising that went back into clubs and equipment.
We raised more than ¥450,000 through bake sales, free-dress days and donation events, and ran SRC Night Out, the Rose event and hot-chocolate drives.
Three recordings from the council

Three films from the council: my vice-presidential campaign, the SRC's introduction to the school, and our welcome-back video for the new year.
UIA International School of Tokyo · 2023
My biggest project as Vice President was an all-school prom night. With no budget, we built one through bake sales and donation drives.
Costumes, masks and the whole school in one room: the night the council felt like it belonged to everyone.
KPASS · 2025
I represented KIST among the region's international schools and led an inter-school candy-gram exchange with more than 1,000 students taking part.
UIA · 2024
I rallied my grade behind #TeamSeas and #TeamTrees, where every dollar planted a tree or cleared a pound of ocean rubbish. We raised more than ¥55,000.
UIA · 2023
Aerodynamics and energy-efficient vehicle design.
A club I co-founded at UIA to teach aerodynamics and energy-efficient vehicle design. We studied how shape changes drag, using record cars like the Mercedes-Benz T80 as case studies, then sketched designs of our own.
Beauty and the Beast · Apr 2026
In April 2026 I played the Beast in KIST's Beauty and the Beast: the lead role, in full costume, before an audience of more than 500, including a Japanese councillor.
Learning to sing, act and move as someone else took months of rehearsal, and was far more fun than I expected.
Backstage
The best part of a musical is the cast: the people I spent months of rehearsals with, backstage just after a show.
Our band's audition for KISTIVAL, the school's music festival, with me on drums.
An older home recording where I layered guitar, piano and drums myself, one track at a time.
Shimamura Music · 2 years
Two years in Shimamura Music's levelled drum programme: rudiments, reading and timing, one grade at a time. The foundation for every band since.
School concerts · ongoing
I play drums at school concerts whenever I can, from Linkin Park and My Chemical Romance to Coldplay and Olivia Dean.
