Metamorphosis: a club for aerodynamic car design

Metamorphosis was a student club I co-founded at UIA to teach aerodynamics and energy-efficient vehicle design, starting from the basics of drag.

Sessions went from how air flows around a body to simulations of efficient vehicles, building up to a group project designing 3D CAD models of streamlined cars.

Our references were the teardrop, the classic low-drag shape, and the Mercedes-Benz T80, a land-speed-record car refined on wind-tunnel models.
